One strategy mentioned in our book, "Trading Auction Cars at a Huge Profit" is to use donor cars if you are repairing and trading damaged cars.

I will start this with a fresh live example;

One of our members bought a flood damaged 2005 Holden Astra, we helped assessing the car and estimate the repair costs. We found that many components have signs of water damage, including the body control units, engine ECU, various relays, CD player etc.

We soon added up the replacement parts cost towards $2,000 or more.

The member therefore put the car aside, and watched the auction listings, specifically what Astra’s were coming up. As Astra is a common car it didn't take long to find a match, the car he found had a good front hit with damaged lights, mediator and ending compartment rails, the accidents had also activated the airbags.

The airbags is a costly and complex repair, thus it is a great advantage to look for activated airbags when you're buying donor cars. At our bags blown, means $1,000 or $3,000 cheaper car.
